What types of businesses do you work with?
We specialize in working with event businesses – rental companies, planners, venues, caterers and other event service providers. Businesses in hospitality or creative industries are also a good fit for us (i.e. restaurants, hotels, retreat centers, wellness pros).
What stage should my business be at for the framework to work best?
Our Five-Path Framework works best for companies looking to grow – including new businesses as well as established event businesses that are stalled at a plateau. We create custom packages combining the elements of our framework based on your company’s goals and stage of business. Most clients spend around $3500/month for our Marketing Partnerships (packages start at $2150 with ad spend being extra).
How big is your agency?
We are a boutique agency with a small team working remotely throughout the United States. As a result we limit the number of clients we take on as partners to ensure more specialized and comprehensive support. Each team member is a marketing expert in their right and many of us have a background in events & weddings.
Can you work with my existing brand, website, or marketing platforms?
Absolutely! We don’t believe in tearing down what’s already working. We’ll assess your current brand, website, and marketing tools to identify what’s effective and what needs improvement or adjustments, and then we will integrate this into our system.
Do I have to commit to all five paths, or can I choose only the ones I need?
While the Five-Path Framework is designed to work best as a complete system, we can focus on specific areas where you need the most support. Whether it’s SEO, digital ads, lead nurturing, or refining your brand and website, we tailor our approach to your business.
What if I already have someone who manages part of this system?
That’s great! We can collaborate with your existing team. Whether it’s your sales team, web designer, or social media manager, we bring an expert perspective and strategic approach to ensure all pieces of your marketing work together effectively.
What’s the onboarding process like?
We start with a deep dive into your business – analyzing your current marketing, identifying opportunities and key markets as well as understanding your company & goals. Then, we build a customized strategy and action plan to implement the Five-Path Framework. From there, we move into execution and ongoing strategic guidance & optimization.
How hands-on do I need to be in the process?
That depends on you! Some clients like to be closely involved while others prefer to hand it off and focus on running their business. Either way, we keep you informed with regular updates, strategy meetings and reporting, so you always know what’s happening and how we can collaborate with your sales goals.
Do you provide the strategy only, or do you also handle execution?
We do both! We don’t just tell you what to do – we roll up our sleeves and make it happen. From strategy development to ad management, SEO, email marketing, and website updates, we oversee & manage the implementation under our ongoing retainer.
Do you work with my competitors?
No. Once we’ve established an ongoing partnership with you, we don’t take on direct competitors in your market. For us, loyalty is a core value. While our work with event and wedding businesses across the U.S., creates great synergy and shared industry insight across our client base, we don’t work with more than one rental company, event venue, caterer or otherwise in the same market at the same time.
What does it cost to work with Path & Compass?
Most clients invest around $3500/month for an ongoing Marketing Partnership – getting a full digital marketing team for less than the cost of a single in-house hire, already specialized in the wedding and event industry. Partnerships start at $1640/month. Ad spend in addition to these fees. For brand and website projects, most clients invest around $12000 for a comprehensive, turnkey build, with packages starting at $7605. Every engagement is scoped to what your business actually needs, so the first step is a conversation.
What do I get for that investment?
With Path & Compass, you get a full digital marketing department for less than it costs to hire even one in-house marketing employee: strategy, SEO, content, social, ads, email, and reputation management. All under one roof and already specialized in the wedding and event industry. Our holistic approach ensures everything works together instead of in silos, and our clients typically find it one of the highest-leverage investments they make in their business.
Is there a long-term contract, or can I work with you month-to-month?
We want to be your long-term partner, acting as a trusted resource and evolving with you. While brand and website packages are completed as projects with a set timeline, it is not uncommon for us to continue supporting these clients with periodic updates or strategy recommendations. For ongoing work, we ask that clients commit to at least a year, as we do not provide month-to-month services. It is common for clients to work with us at varying levels for years.
What about social media management? Can you help with that?
Yes, but our focus is on strategy-driven marketing. We provide polished, consistent social media content to keep your feeds active & optimized for search. For more in-depth social media management & engagement, we can collaborate with your team or partner with another service provider to ensure everything stays aligned.
