23 Aug Defining Our Own Paths
It’s been a while.
I feel a little guilty not holding up my end of the bargain – to show up here regularly. The thing is, I think you should only write and send emails when you have something important to add. Or when you have space in your life to grow relationships and take on new opportunities.
I didn’t have those things. I had work. Loads of client work including 2 websites, various campaigns, grand openings, the end of a partnership and beginnings of others. When I am honest with myself, I have been stuck in the all too often trap of working “in” your business, not leaving any time to work “on” it. Plus, I like to wander. Not necessarily strategically but curiously. I believe your life is not meant to be a linear experience and neither is your work. Doing so fuels the unique perspective I bring to my clients while satiating my Sagittarian-driven need to escape to the tropics with a trunk of books and yoga mat.
All said, I am looking forward to sharing my lessons learned and have some good stuff in the works so I’ll be landing in your inbox more often with insight and actionable advice garnered from my last 8 months of exploration. I’m excited to be back and want these emails to continue to benefit you. If you’ve got a burning question for me about anything from websites to SEO to wedding shows to wandering, I’ve love to hear it. Simply respond to this email – I will be sure to answer and may even share my advice in a future email.
Until then, here’s to defining our own paths.
