MINI EPISODE | How can I reach more wedding & event clients?

Q&A with Krista

Introducing Q&A with Krista! In today’s mini-episode I answer one of the most common questions I get asked – ‘How do reach more wedding and event clients?’ (a.k.a ‘How do I book more business?’)

While I do share my current favorite marketing tools to reach engaged couples and people planning an event, I also share the core questions you need to be asking yourself before you get too committed to any marketing tool or platform.

Have a marketing or business question for me? Send me your questions at krista@bossesandbourbon.com. And be sure to subscribe to our podcast as well as leave a review to let me know if you like the show and what else you want to hear.

KEY TOPICS:
  • Marketing tools and platforms
  • Social media marketing
  • Networking in the event industry

LISTEN IF:
  • You are want to know how to reach your ideal clients
  • You feel stuck on how to gain a larger audience
KEY TAKEAWAYS:

It’s really important when trying to reach more clients to first determine what kind of clients we want to reach, what we have to offer them, and what problem it solves for them.

I am a forever fan of e-mail marketing. I think e-mail marketing is really great for a couple of reasons. You end up in a more intimate space. You’re in someone’s inbox, they have to decide what to do with your e-mail. They can’t ignore it or miss it like you can with social media.

Platforms change all the time, but it is more important to really hone in on what you offer, who you serve, and why do they care.

There are opportunities to explore more unique ways to connect with audiences that are your actual clients and not get so caught up in the echo chamber that is the vendor industry.

Krista Chapman of Path & Compass, marketing & strategist to the wedding & event industry works with a lot of smart, hard-working bosses in her consulting work.
